Jisr El Wati
As part of Beirut Design Week, Retrieving Beirut is an initiative that is bringing a group of 10 emerging and established Lebanese artists and designers together in a collaborative exhibition that will be held in K Timber warehouse in Jisr El Wati which will be transformed into an art gallery for the duration of the exhibition.
The exhibition aims to capture and showcase Beirut’s complexity and to anchor positive change through the works of Chadi Aoun, Karen Chekerdjian Studio, Robert Cremona, Charbel El Fakhri, Johnny Farah, Abdallah Hatoum, Youssef Haidar, Dimitri Haddad, Elie Moubarak, Mukhi Sisters, Anthony Sahyoun and Unilux as they flaunt the magic of Beirut City and illustrate its unique intensity.
The opening ceremony on May 24th at 6 PM will mark the beginning of a five hours voyage into the works of the artists.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until May 29th from 12PM till 7PM
