Gluten-free diet nowadays is becoming a trendy lifestyle although majority of people following it may not realize what gluten really is. Are they making the right decision? Is it really healthier or is there any harm in following a gluten-free diet?
On the other hand, people who are diagnosed with celiac disease are put on a gluten-free diet. What is exactly celiac disease and why is it becoming more common? What other diseases require gluten-free diet? Which products on the market are really gluten-free?
This workshop will explain celiac disease and the basis of gluten-free diet in details based on new evidence and research. It will also discuss the trend of following a gluten-free diet as a lifestyle. The practical part will focus first on planning healthy gluten-free menus based on available products then on cooking gluten-free recipes.
