Ride with us for a good cause!
We’ll be cycling across the city to give Good Notes to as many children on the streets of Beirut as we can. Joining us in the ride, in its first appearance, is the Good Truck, a new Bou Khalil on wheels, with one purpose: Get closer to the people on the streets by carrying food, water and other necessities to them. Children and their families can directly redeem from the Good Truck with their Good Notes.
Meet us at Cyclo Sport in Gemmayzeh at 4pm. The ride will kick off at 4:30pm and we’ll be cycling through Corniche el Nahr, Adlieh, Tayouneh, Corniche el Mazraa, Verdun, Hamra and Raouche. We’ll be stopping in each area to give out Good Notes to children on the streets. The end of our ride will be at Mar Mikhayel where the Good Truck will park and stop for a couple of hours. If you can’t make the ride, come down to Mar Mikhayel at 8:00pm. Locale is also selling Good Notes. You can buy some and hand them to the street children in the area to get their good from the truck.
The Good Note is an initiative by Bou Khalil supermarkets to encourage responsible giving to children on the streets. Each Good Note is worth 1,000 Lebanese pounds and can only be spent on good things like food, water and personal hygiene items - that means no alcohol or tobacco. Good Notes can also be redeemed in Pharmacy with a doctor’s prescription. Find out more about the initiative by visiting :www.thegoodnote.com.
This event is brought to you by The Good Note and Cycling Circle.
