“Orpheus' ensemble” gathers together musicians with a rich and different background into a fine musical project. The codes of Brazilian music -Bossa, Samba Canção, Choro, etc.- are the device which synchronizes varied experiences into a unique voice, and the pretext for a deeper reading of varied voices converging into a unique experience.

PASQUALE PORCIELLO was born in Marigliano, Naples, Italy in 1985. At the age of 11, he started the study guitar, and at the age of 14 the study Cello at “San Pietro a Majella Royal Conservatory of Music” in Naples. Pasquale graduated at “L’Orientale” University of Naples in Comparative Languages and Literatures (Arabic and Spanish) and completed a Masters degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies at SOAS, University of London. He charms the audience with his dynamic performances of his inexhaustible repertoire, including his native Neapolitan songs and Brazilian music.

NOBUKO MIYAZAKI is a flutist and shinobue (Japanese bamboo flute) player. A passionate and emotive performer, Nobuko draws influences from across the world, embracing traditions and transcending them, and seeks to create a global community through music. Uniquely versatile, she is a sought-after musician in diverse genres, including Western classical, Japanese, and Arabic music. Nobuko has appeared throughout the USA, Latin America, Asia, and Europe, including at the BBC Proms in the Park and Lincoln Center Out-Of-Doors Festival. Recently, she performed her orchestral composition "Inorikaze (Prayer Wind)" at Carnegie Hall. Nobuko is super happy to be back in Beirut!

MOHANNAD NASSER hails from Sweida, Syria, and is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus. He is the winner of several international oud competitions and also played with the National Syrian Orchestra. Nasser combines virtuosity with smooth sensibility, reflected in his compositions which are both sweepingly fast-paced and sweetly melodic.

KEVIN SAFADI is one of the most talented Lebanese percussionists. Safadi collaborates with the most renowned artists of Lebanese musical scene.
