C R a S H presents thirty recent photographs by NANCY DEBS HADAD of plates extracted from various electronic devices (computers, televisions, calculators, hi-fi, mobile telephones) after their ‘crash’. Developed by man to ensure circulation and storage of information, these plates, having become obsolete, pile up and form mountains of waste while waiting to be taken apart and finally destroyed.

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), the Office of Information Technology and the Communication Skills Program at the American University of Beirut will hold their "Eighth International Conference on Effective Teaching and Learning in H​igher Education” on February 16-18, 2018 on the campus of AUB. The Conference Program Committee invites university faculty members from Lebanon, the MENA region, and beyond to submit proposals for presentations to be reviewed for possible inclusion in the Conference program.
